WHAT TO EXPECT

Join our dynamic team as an Inverter Test Engineer, playing a pivotal role in our pursuit of excellence in electrified powertrains. You\'ll be responsible for ensuring the robust delivery of state-of-the-art Inverter products into our vehicle programs, helping us achieve class-leading attributes while driving the accelerated transition to full electrification.

As an Inverter Test Engineer, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement rigorous validation activities, contribute to the evolution of test methods, and help maintain the reliability and robustness that defines our brand.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of traction Inverters, ensuring alignment with program milestones and targets.

Develop and implement robust test methods, addressing risk identification, quality assurance, defect detection, and timing.

Work collaboratively to define test needs during supplier sourcing discussions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to optimize test processes.

Generate and maintain DVP (Design Verification Plan) test reports for project milestones.

Participate in regulatory compliance and safety considerations for powertrain components.

WHAT YOU\'LL NEED

Familiarity with electrical, EMC, climatic, and environmental test techniques.

Basic experience in test automation for powertrain load rigs, including dyno systems.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to excel in cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of control systems hardware, sensor technology, control software, and diagnostics.

Understanding of the design and release process for safety-critical automotive components/systems.

Knowledge of high voltage systems and test automation scripting is desirable.
