TITLE: Investment Analyst
LOCATION: London
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

Lloyds Living is the Group's Private Rental and Shared Ownership Subsidiary. Its purpose is to Help Britain Prosper through improving access to good quality, affordable rental homes across the UK whilst delivering diverse and sustainable financial returns to Group.
We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our investment team. You will work alongside Investment, Finance and Asset Managers and play an important part in the below key business areas:
Portfolio Analytics:
Analysis of the Lloyds Living portfolio and identifying key trends and site-specific value add opportunities. Providing recommendations to the business while keeping the business's core financial (4YOP) and policy objectives in mind (i.e. zero bills targets etc.);
Investment appraisals:
Financial analysis and modelling of new acquisitions across a variety of deal structures, including forward funding, forward commit, stabilised and corporate transactions. Preparing documentation for committee and board decision making;
Business Planning:
Develop P&L forecasting models for our Finance and Operations Team. This will include Private / RP Shared Ownership and new initiatives investigated by the business;
You'll have a strong analytical background, excellent excel skills and possess a genuine interest in principle real estate investment.
Your accountabilities will include:
Collaborate with key stakeholders and utilize in-house data platforms to identify site specific value add opportunities or regional trends that may impact our investment decisions. Prepare presentation material outlining the proposal, key aspects, financial impact and recommendations;
Utilize in-house data platforms to prepare actuals versus underwrite analysis;
The creation and monitoring of key financial models, principally within the investment team;
Working with Investment Managers to assist in transaction execution decisions including, financial analysis, due diligence and the preparation of committee approval papers;
Financial modelling work related to business plan, investment, project delivery and asset management decisions;
Monitoring market trends through review and summary of available research for the Lloyds Living Leadership Team;
Maintaining and developing network of colleagues within LBG and also externally, ensuring PRS and Shared Ownership knowledge coming into the company is at the forefront of sector and business relevance;
Crafting new and better ways for the organisation to be successful through enhancing the analytical and commercial skills within the business;
Crucial skills and experience:
Previous experience in real estate investment financial modelling;
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
Strong, commercial acumen with the ability to aid in pragmatic, commercial problem solving;
Outstanding analytical skills and experience in creating and manipulating financial models and producing KPIs to support investment decision making;
Drafting committee board papers to investment and executive committee;
Ability to assess the financial impacts and sensitivities of key commercial decisions;
A positive, can-do mentality alongside a strong work ethic and hunger to learn;
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across different audiences;
Knowledge and practicable experience of property acquisition and disposal
