Join us at Barclays for a role in Investment Banking Chief Controls Office Supervision and Controls. In this role you will be responsible for the first line of defence, ensuring effective governance is maintained across key customer processes underpinning controls, to strengthen the control environment. This includes providing control business partnership services to the business which allow for targeted control focused interventions to fix and/or simplify controls and assurance to ensure that customer needs are met by the process every time, so the business meets regulatory and compliance commitments.
To be successful within Investment Banking Chief Controls Office Supervision and Controls you should have:
An understanding of the Markets business and experience working with senior Markets stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
Experienced in the design and implementation of controls improvement initiatives.
Some other highly valued skills include:
Working knowledge and practical experience of the regulations and standards of relevant industry bodies and organisations.
Experience with other Control and three lines of defence teams to share ideas, best practices and ensure consistency of experience across Businesses and Risks.
Desire to challenge the status quo and tangibly improve our controls framework.
