The Role:
We are looking for an Investor Relations Associate to join our Real Estate business.
The Real Estate Investor Relations team is a dynamic and energetic team that focuses on the development and maintenance of relationships with new and existing institutional investors for the M&G Real Estate Business, with over 35bn of assets under management. This includes supporting products invested in commercial and residential real estate across the UK, Europe, and Asia. The team works closely with fund management, investment and asset management, finance, legal, and compliance areas to not only service our existing investors but also support the growth and development of the business.
Key responsibilities for this role:Responsible for the preparation of material across the M&G Real Estate product range with a focus on the M&G Living franchise.
The role will involve servicing existing investors and new prospects, including aspects of client take-on, due diligence and client retention.
Attend and record client/prospect meeting notes and input all necessary information into Salesforce.
Produce presentations and pitchbook, with a focus on our Living strategies, for existing clients, new prospects and industry conferences.
Coordinate and contribute to RFP, DDQ and RFI responses.
Support in coordinating site visits, investor days and operational due diligence meetings.
Assist with updating and maintenance of consultant databases.
Assist with responses to investor and consultant queries, and requests from internal stakeholders.
Assist with the compilation of reporting materials.
Assist with the compilation of sales flyers and fund profiles and other promotional material.
Providing ad-hoc admin support to the team when required.
Note: Role would be ideal for someone with a background in RFPs and Presentations who is looking to transition into a more client-focused position over time.
Key knowledge, Skills & Experience:
EssentialMinimum of at least two years' experience in an institutional client service or business development team required.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
Organised and systematic approach to work.
Ability to work in a diverse team.
Ability to build and develop relationships with internal and external customers, as well as internal stakeholders and service providers.
Ability to work with complex data.
Problem-solving skills combined with intelligence, passion and a drive to learn.
Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative to strict deadlines.
Desirable but not essentialBusiness related degree, Real Estate or investment focused qualifications.
Experience of institutional RFPs and new business pitches.
Real estate industry experience.
Advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
Working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM database.
