This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative and dynamic team in a new role for Health and Adult Services and to play a part in delivering Health and Adult Services' commitment to hearing the voices of those who use our services and their families.



This role operates within the Involvement and Governance team. The role is customer-facing, including regular liaison with customer representatives, people with lived experience and statutory and third sector partners. The purpose of the role is to support the facilitation of engagement and co-production for the Directorate, in particular to strengthen customer voice and involvement in order to support the Directorate to understand customer experience and views and take account of this in service design and evaluation.



The Participation & Involvement Assistant will work alongside the Participation and Involvement Officers to empower adults living within North Yorkshire who access Health and Adult Services, and their families, to be involved in shaping the services of the Directorate and drive systemic change.



This role will require you to think creatively and dynamically and communicate with a range of people with different communication and information needs and preferences. You will be flexible in your thinking and open in your approach. We co-produce our services and so you must want to listen to those who use our services and be able to hear what they are saying on lots of different levels.
