IOT Engineer Specialist BDM / Account Manager - HYBRID
JOB LOCATION: Vine St Uxbridge, London UB8 1JG
DURATION: PERM Role
SALARY: 80 K - 85 K + Benefits

Join Our Team as a BDM / Account Manager - IoT Connectivity and Track & Trace Solutions (Northern Europe: UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Baltics)
Experience: Proven experience in international sales, particularly in the telecommunications, IOT or software sectors. Ideally, a background in MNO business (not essential).
Travel: Willingness to travel internationally regularly.
Essential Experience & Attributes:

  • Proven track record in IoT connectivity and track & trace solutions.
  • Strong understanding of smart functionality and enterprise IoT applications.
  • Self-starter with experience developing new business across multiple regions.
  • Solid commercial and technical grounding in connectivity-led solutions, ideally with exposure to logistics, supply chain, or telematics sectors.
Please note:
  • We are not looking for candidates from a SIM card or SIM-selling background.
  • There is scope to increase the package for candidates with strong and relevant IoT and track & trace experience.

Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be the primary driver for expanding IoT Connectivity and Track & Trace business. You will introduce and sell our comprehensive solutions for asset tracking, telematics, and enterprise connectivity, building strong relationships with new and existing clients.
You will work closely with internal teams to ensure solutions meet client needs and lead the commercial growth of these offerings in the region.
Responsibilities:
Business Growth: Develop and execute a strategy to expand Connectivity and track & trace solutions in Northern Europe.
Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in logistics, supply chain, and IoT-driven enterprises. Understand client challenges and position solutions as the ideal fit.
Solution Expertise: Present and demonstrate track & trace platforms, telematics solutions, and IoT connectivity offerings. Translate complex technologies into clear business value.
Market Development: Identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities in logistics, telecoms, and IoT markets.
Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support solution deployment, integration, and customer success.
Sales Pipeline Management: Drive the sales process from lead generation to closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management in IoT, telecoms, logistics, or track & trace sectors.
Strong knowledge of mobile connectivity, SIM/eSIM solutions, IoT platforms, and ideally asset tracking, telematics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand complex client needs and design tailored solutions.
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
