Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ironer to join our small friendly team. We are based in Newdigate.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all linen and garments are impeccably pressed and presented, contributing to the overall quality of service in our company, training will be given.

The hours are:

Tuesday 9.30am-2pm

Wednesday 9.30am-2pm

Thursday 9.30am-1.30pm

Responsibilities

Operate handheld industrial irons to press linens and garments efficiently. Inspect items for stains, damage, or imperfections prior to ironing Fold and package finished items according to established guidelines. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Skills

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills for effective teamwork. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week
