In our continuous journey of growth and innovation within the Maritime Team here at Carnival UK, we are seeking an

ISM Superintendent - Global HESS

(Health, Environment, Safety & Security) to bring fresh insights and expertise to our department.

Role Overview



This pivotal role will involve:

Leading the development and deployment of Global HESS 2.0, including Tier 3 procedures and content quality assurance. Ensuring CUK maintains the functional requirements of a safety management system as required by the ISM code. Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Global HESS 2.0, engaging stakeholders and providing feedback on system enhancements. Coordinating pilot rollout and stakeholder engagement across CUK and Corporate teams. Managing system issues post-deployment, including oversight of the SNAP IT work request database.


This role is positioned at

CUK Level 08

within our organization and is available on a

full-time

,

fixed-term

basis for

10 months

(end date: 30th September 2026). We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

What You'll Bring



Your unique background and skills are what will make you stand out. We're looking for:

Strong document management and procedural compliance review capabilities. Competence in database use and data analysis. Experience with externally audited management standards such as ISM. Familiarity with UAT/system environments and electronic risk assessment systems. Industry specific experience or transferable to the cruise environment.
