Job Req ID: 45105Posting Date: 24th March 2025Function: Risk and OperationsLocation: Any of our strategic hubs in the UK (Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester, Sheffield)Why this job mattersAs our ISO Audit Specialist you'll lead audits across multiple ISO Standards servicing across BT group (Openreach, Digital, Business, Networks, Corporate Units).ISO has a direct impact on our customers in everything we do. The risks and impacts associated from non-compliance and loss of certification are wide ranging and can include loss of customer confidence, contract breach, loss of future contracts, reputational damage, reduced marketability and potential restrictions on ability to trade.We are seeking your multinational auditing and assurance experience as you'll be auditing functions and sites across multinational organisations and Major Government (Secure Contracts supporting UK infrastructure), ideally you'll have worked with the Telecommunications or Technology industry. Whilst also horizon scanning for risks and opportunities to ensure plans and contractual requirements are appropriate and relevant to the organisation.Maintaining ISO standards linking into BT Group Risks and their mitigation strategies - primarily ISO27001 to Cyber & Information Security Group Risk, ISO22301 maps to Service Interruption Risk and ISO14001 maps to Major Contracts. We'll see you identify and deliver actions to mitigate business risks from non-compliance and loss of certification with deep understanding of technological controls and ISMS Mandatory Documents particularly within ISO27001.You'll see yourself working with a diverse group of stakeholders internally and externally across differing levels of seniority and teams across the Globe where you'll be providing assurance against ISO standards and Internal Controls to ensure we BT retain ISO certifications.What you'll be doing

• Planning, performing and reporting of ISO internal audits. Creating and delivering multiple ISO internal audit programmes across 3 year certifications for any CFUs/MFUs for which you are accountable based on the individual annual audit plan and strategies
• Leading on Audits, Providing comprehensive and timely audit reports.
• Tracking internal and external audit findings prior to Manager authorisations, having reviewed all appropriate mitigation and evidence.
• Ensuring that Artemis and the annual audit plan and strategy are updated throughout the year as audit plans change
• Good Communication skills providing succinct feedback to stakeholders regarding audit programmes and certification status.
• Provide trend analysis information of audit findings against ISO Standards and the upward reporting of any findings that pose a risk to the business/organisation/certification
• Supporting ISO Audit Manager by highlighting any areas of concern within the in a timely manner
• Provide input to and continual review of an improved plan BT database of ISO certificates held to help the business capture and rationalise where appropriate. This will include capturing xe2x80x9cauditablexe2x80x9d activities and bringing these into ISO Audit remit where appropriate.
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the ISO Quality Audit Universe by ensuring that any changes to the CFU/MFU/Standard are advised to the relevant administrator

Experience you'll have

• Lead Auditor/Qualified Auditor to ISO Standards; Primarily ISO27001 at expert level, with understanding of technological controls and ISMS Mandatory Documents, plus Lead Auditor in one other: ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO20000, , ISO22301, ISO45001.
• Experience in management systems design / implementation and maintenance (to ISO 27001)
• Proven ability to lead audit programmes across large and complex multinational organisations
• Telecommunications and/or technology industry auditing experience
• Proven experience in the IT / Info Security or audit industry.
• Ability to address information security issues in a broad range of IT infrastructures and technologies across a wide selection of business environments
• The preferred candidate would hold a CISA, CISM or CISSP qualification or be working towards professional membership in this field.
• Artemis platform (Preferred)
