We currently have an opportunity for an Issuer Services Business Management Analyst

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Work with the Head BSR and Product / Regional Heads within Capital Markets and relevant regional, coverage and strategy colleagues to align Capital Markets\xe2\x80\x99 priorities to Global Banking\xe2\x80\x99s core strategy and communicate the strategy regionally, across the Capital Markets\xe2\x80\x99 team

\xc2\xb7 Monitor and report relevant developments relating to market dynamics, peers, benchmarks to help guide and further refine strategic execution within Capital Markets, providing ongoing feedback to the global strategy team

\xc2\xb7 Ensure strategic alignment of investment in digital and transformation, effectively driving ROI outcomes promised by corresponding business cases

\xc2\xb7 Drive collaboration initiatives with selected Global Businesses, notably CMB

\xc2\xb7 Supporting the Capital Markets leadership in engaging with business heads, functional heads and other key stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Engage with key stakeholders including bankers, clients and product leads to prioritize investments that maximize client impact over time.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for monitoring Capital Markets\xe2\x80\x99 business performance working closely with the team lead, including performance against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), intensity measures and missed business process

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the production of Capital Markets \xe2\x80\x98specific management information, working with Finance, leveraging globally consistent processes, metrics and data sources where available

\xc2\xb7 Support formulation of the Capital Markets regional AOP including revenue targets, workforce plan (FTE) and costs, in collaboration with the regional COS/COO teams

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the design, formulation and implementation of medium term and annual investment plans, across headcount, technology and other areas of investment

\xc2\xb7 Oversee all first line of defense activities around Financial Crime Risk and Control, Conduct and Regulatory Compliance

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the Second and Third Line Functions regionally to ensure alignment in the implementation and enforcement of the risk and control framework

\xc2\xb7 Lead on the delivery of the Conduct Agenda within Capital Markets regionally, working with the Banking COO/BSR/CCO partners, regions and Regulatory Compliance

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Capital Markets preferred

\xc2\xb7 Very strong analytical and presentation skills, with excellent grasp of PowerPoint / Excel / MS Word and ability to distil large quantities of information into key themes / issues. Follow up on recurring themes from the MI and identify solutions, which are followed through to conclusion

\xc2\xb7 Ability to process high volumes of complex information and ability to summarize key themes and issues

\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal and communication skills with capacity to work with senior teams and ability to interact at all levels of the organization

\xc2\xb7 Be able to work effectively under pressure and with multiple stakeholders and willingness to go the \xe2\x80\x98extra-mile\xe2\x80\x99

\xc2\xb7 Excellent English language capabilities both written and oral

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently, multi-task, filter information and prioritize multiple demands

\xc2\xb7 The role holder would benefit from experience in one or more of the following business lines; GB, CMB. Also, it would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of products and client propositions across these businesses
