Are you a driven field sales professional with a knack for integrating telecommunications, IT, and cyber security solutions? As our new Business Development Manager, you will be crucial to driving our growth in the SME market. You'll be proactive in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across our comprehensive product and service portfolio. This hybrid role requires regular collaboration time in our Newcastle office and a clean driving licence for face-to-face customer visits.
Responsibilities
Seeking new business opportunities across telecom, IT, and cyber security within defined guidelines and timescales.
Consistently delivering against all sales targets and accurately forecasting sales pipelines.
Conducting thorough research to understand individual market sectors and identify potential customer targets.
Building, managing, and maintaining a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Positioning Chaser Communications' solutions with value-based arguments during consultative sales engagements.
Negotiating pricing and contractual terms in line with company guidelines.
Performing GAP recovery and 30-60-90-day planning to achieve sales targets.
Promoting a professional image, developing your skills, and completing all required sales documentation

Solid Sales Experience:
Demonstrable track record of closing sales within the technology market, ideally with an IT, telecom, or managed services provider.

Certifications:

Market Reach:
Relationships across the UK channel and experience selling cloud and security-related services.
Stakeholder Management:
Experience selling at a senior management and business owner level.
CRM Proficiency:
Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
