The Opportunity
We are pleased to announce an IT Support Apprenticeship opportunity. This entry-level role is designed for individuals with a strong interest in technology who wish to pursue a career in IT. The successful candidate will acquire practical experience, participate in formal training programs, and collaborate with our skilled IT team to provide essential support to business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st line helpdesk support to users, assisting with IT and business tool queries under supervision
Assist with hardware/software installations and new starter equipment setup
Support on-site installation and decommissioning of IT services
Help with basic networking tasks, such as PC and printer setup
Perform essential IT Department functions.
Assist in supporting communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Outlook)
Contribute to the creation of FAQ and help guides for IT troubleshooting
Participate in Learning and Development opportunities, including formal apprenticeship training
Shadow experienced IT staff on projects and routine operational tasks
Training & Development
Enroll in a Level 3 or 4 IT Apprenticeship program combining on-the-job learning with a dedicated training course. (Depending on prior qualifications)
Receive mentoring from experienced IT professionals
Gain exposure to modern IT systems, including Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking
Develop troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
Candidate Profile
Passionate about technology and eager to learn
Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Organized, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
No prior professional IT experience required; any relevant coursework or personal projects are a plus
Open to change and new challenges

About The Role
