IT Architecture - Information Manager
50-55,000 plus 15% bonus
Midlands (hybrid)
A unique role at the heart of the technology team, to own the architecture team's artefact, documentation and quality of information available to the architecture team.
Perfect for a business analyst, business / process architect or technical author, who would like to try something new.
If you like organisation and structure and you are technically savvy, perhaps wanting to move into architecture, this could be for you.
The role

  • Own the enterprise architecture tool - so that's the technical catalogues - info and tech document repositories
  • Metadata - keep updated and own the accuracy and quality
  • Create dashboards for colleagues in Technology
  • Order, organise and ensure adherence to correct process, documentation and repository management
  • Document repositories - develop the process for the creation, capture, storage and use of knowledge and identify the technology needed to allow all this to happen.
Required Skills
  • Documentation and repository management (sharepoint, confluence etc)
  • Business and process analysis skills
  • Technical documentation - you may have been a Technical Author or a Business Architect
  • Ability to drive compliance to using and contributing to standard documentation
  • Knowledge of architectural terms, high level systems, applications, cloud tech, how things hang together
  • Understanding of metadata, related concepts
