Job Description

In this key and exciting role, working in our IT Supplier Management team. You will act as a point of contact for all IT assets and telecoms billing queries, working closely with senior managers and teams across the business.



Your responsibilities will directly contribute to cost reduction and operational efficiency. You'll support ongoing asset and billing processes, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline spend and improve data accuracy, using both independent initiative and team collaboration to deliver results.



You will also assist with ongoing IT asset management and telecoms billing.


What you'll do

You'll help the company control costs and make savings by managing our IT assets and track our IT billing costs.



Your responsibilities will include:


assisting with the provision and cost-effective management of our IT Assets, ensuring availability with effective lifecycle management in line with policy and process assisting with laptop and mobile device replacement cycles reviewing in detail IT telecoms invoices and ensuring correct charges have been applied by suppliers supporting the monitoring and management of mobile data usage monitoring and chasing all redundant lines and SIM cards maintaining and updating the CMDB to ensure all IT assets are correctly assigned and up to date supporting IT Vendor Management Team Leader as required liaising with suppliers to resolve queries IT request ticket management stock room management monitoring and assisting with stock replenishment assisting with the secure disposal of decommissioned hardware by liaising with our partners maintaining documentation of all procedures and processes assisting with receiving IT stock deliveries.

What you'll need

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Good IT skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise. Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills. Flexible and positive approach. Math and English GCSE at grade C or above. Experience in a customer service or ITIL Service Management environment is desirable. Experience with billing or asset/stock management would be beneficial.
