The Opportunity



The ERP specialist will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting solutions that are implemented as part of the company's ERP strategy. In this position, the individual will use their business and technical acumen to collaborate with the team members and vendor consulting team to define optimised business processes and implement high quality / reliable IT solutions supporting them. This is a small team, and the ERP specialist is expected to contribute to all facets of the project life cycle. The initial focus will be on manufacturing / supply chain / quality processes, but responsibilities will change as business needs evolve.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities



Conduct business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions to determine system configuration and business requirements Map business process requirements to software functionality, determine gap/fit, and design solutions for identified gaps Perform hands-on software configuration in support of targeted business process requirements Trouble shoot and resolve issues resulting from system configuration activities Facilitate test script development and execution for assigned workstream(s) Provide business process, software, and project expertise to functional teams Assist in maintenance and technical support of the IT applications Assist with implementation of critical business metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytic tools Work within a larger team of vendor analysts and developers and assist in review of deliverables to ensure they meet business requirements and technical needs Lead continuous improvement activities and act as a change agent Facilitate testing, training and change management to our end users in partnership with business leaders and to the needs of our quality management program. Contribute as needed in other areas requiring technical expertise, such as data conversions, reporting, security, interfaces, etc

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Experience Required



Five (5) or more years of related experience including design and implementation of ERP or similar solutions. Experience at external consulting with a large consulting firm preferred. Hands-on experience with software configuration, prototyping, and testing using leading ERP software solutions, for example: INFOR LN, IFS, Microsoft F&O, SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, or other. Experience with INFOR LN or similar INFOR products. Experience with logistics operations in ERP systems.

Skills Required



Demonstrated expertise in business process analysis and design in supporting a global manufacturing business. Must have good presentation, organizational, and documentation skills and strong problem solving and business analysis skills Ability to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, and utilize flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions Excellent team leadership skills with proven success contributing on both large sub-teams and leading small projects and the ability to manage multiple project tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Personal Profile



Essential:



Bachelor's Degree (Preferred fields include Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related business disciplines).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 48,000.00-60,000.00 per year
