A leading organisation within the defence and technology industry is recruiting an IT Category Manager.

Procurement Heads is working with a leading organisation that provides world-class procurement support for organisations across the globe, to recruit an IT Category Manager.

This organisation has gone through extensive growth in recent years. As a result, they are undergoing a transformation to become more category-led and strategically focused.

This role plays a crucial role within the organisation, where you will be procuring a range of IT hardware and software, but also corporate services, including; FM, HR, Legal, Travel and Catering.

As IT Category Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

• Procuring IT hardware and software for both internal and external customers.
• Working on a range of complex IT Projects.
• Managing key stakeholders with diverse requirements.
• Sourcing new suppliers, including in accordance with the relevant processes and procedures.
• Undertaking Supplier review meetings, including managing supplier risk and mitigations.
• Supplier management and development to drive supplier performance.
• Supporting crucial internal stakeholders and business units.
• Able to manage the varied demands of a complex and high-profile framework, often working to short timescales.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree qualified (Desirable)
• MCIPS, MCILT, IoSCM or IACCM qualification (Desirable)

Salary and Benefits of the IT Category Manager role:

• A salary of up to \xc2\xa365,000
