Job Title: IT Engineer

Schedule: On-site, 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT professional that holds a strong background in cybersecurity and IT, with a bonus if they have experience in networking and/or hardware engineering, to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of our IT and networking infrastructure deployed across client sites, as well as delivering technical support to both internal teams and external clients.

This role will involve some travel abroad to support our international operations, so a UK or EU passport is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain deployed IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.

Ensure the smooth operation of network systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Perform quarterly Cyber analysis and reporting of IT and Networking infrastructure.

Provide technical support and assistance to employees and clients both in-person and remotely.

Collaborate with teams to plan, design, and implement infrastructure improvements and upgrades.

Assist with the setup, test, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

Document IT procedures and create user manuals for employees and clients.

Travel abroad to support international operations as required.

Prepared to travel throughout the UK, Europe, and other parts of world, and hold a UK or European Union passport allowing free movement throughout EU member states.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT professional, preferably with a focus on cybersecurity / networking.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Experience with network troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Experience with Windows platform.

Familiarity with Server management and maintenance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel abroad as needed.

Full UK/EU driving licence.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in cybersecurity, including knowledge of best practices and threat mitigation.

Hardware Engineering.

Experience working with CCTV Systems.

Experience with Cybersecurity tools; Tennable Nessus / Scap Compliance / STIG.

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
