Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Management
Administer and maintain servers, virtualisation platforms, and network infrastructure.
Manage installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting across systems.
Implement hardware and software upgrades to enhance system resilience.
Support end-user devices (desktops, laptops, mobile, and telephony).
Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects.
Cloud & Collaboration Platforms
Manage
Microsoft 365
including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Administer
Mimecast
for email security and continuity.
Configure
Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID
(MFA, Conditional Access, Role-based Access).
Support
Intune
for device management and compliance policies.
Security & Compliance
Maintain network and data security, backups, encryption, and GDPR compliance.
Manage SSL/TLS certificates and monitor renewal and deployment.
Contribute to Zero Trust and vulnerability management strategies.
Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to automation strategies to streamline IT processes.
Maintain technical documentation and internal knowledge bases.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
What You'll Need
Experience
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Administrator, or Azure Administrator.
Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and VPNs.
Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates and hybrid cloud environments.
Technical Knowledge
Expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Mimecast, and Azure AD.
Familiarity with Intune, Defender for Office 365, and Microsoft security tools.
PowerShell scripting knowledge (advantageous).
Skills
Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
Qualifications
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
