As a IT Field & Build Engineer, you'll be the face of the company-- helping our clients stay operational, secure, and happy.
You'll handle day to day on-site installations, maintenance visits, and troubleshooting where necessary, working closely with the Service team to resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.
You will be responsible for the complete end to end of customer new starter builds, Computer Builds / Repair and installation of new equipment to customer sites.
This is a mixed role between Office & Field based position.
You'll be travelling to client sites regularly. Please note, this is not a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site IT support and troubleshooting for client systems where necessary
Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication at all times.
Carry out day to day installations, maintenance visits of customer sites
Manage and resolve tickets through our helpdesk system relating to Builds and onsite works.
Keep accurate documentation and ensure issues are properly tracked.
Assist where necessary with project delivery and implementation.
Handle all New starter Builds & Repairs for our clients
Responsible for shipping & Delivering customer equipment on time
Manage Customer Equipment stored on site at our head office
Stock control room
What We're Looking For
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.
Understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and File/Print Services.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
Knowledge of networking, VoIP systems, and hardware installation.
Experience providing support on-site.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Must have the right to work in the UK and no criminal convictions.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Halo PSA, Ninja RMM, N-able RMM, Cove backup solutions.
Previous Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
Previous Experience in a computer repair shop
