IT Support Engineer covering Reading and the South of England

Due to continued growth and a new national retail contract, we are expanding our team in the

South of England

. We're now looking for an experienced and motivated

IT Support Engineer

based in or near

Reading

.

The Role

This is a

hybrid position

combining remote IT support with regular on-site visits. You will handle both scheduled and emergency retail callouts, supporting sites from

London to Bristol

, including frequent travel

into London (by train or car)

.

You'll work closely with our Leeds-based support team to deliver the same high level of technical service, customer care, and professionalism QLine IT is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Provide

remote and on-site IT support

for hardware, software, and networking issues. Perform

installations, maintenance, and upgrades

at client sites. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently, maintaining accurate records. Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely updates

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 2 years' experience in IT support or field engineering (MSP background preferred). Strong knowledge of

Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals

. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Full

UK driving licence

and flexibility to travel across the South of England, including regular visits to London.
