Full Allied Pharmacies is a chain of pharmacies based on partnerships with local pharmacists. Utilising over 50 years of combined experience within this sector, we now operate over 170 pharmacies across the UK. We are currently recruiting IT Field Engineers to support our expanding network of stores across England and Wales. We are looking for dynamic, reliable, and motivated individuals who are passionate about IT and eager to build a career in the field. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, self-sufficient, and willing to travel, with a flexible and proactive approach to working in a field-based environment. Role Summary: This full-time, field-based role involves the installation, maintenance, and configuration of IT, networking and CCTV systems across a large number of retail pharmacy locations. You will be expected to travel frequently, including overnight stays, to ensure stores nationwide are operating smoothly and securely. You will work independently, managing your own workload and collaborating with our central IT team to deliver a consistently high standard of service and support. Main Responsibilities: Install and configure IT, networking and CCTV equipment to a set company standard Troubleshoot IT and connectivity issues, supported by the central IT team Retrieve, redeploy, and manage IT hardware as required Ensure all work is GDPR compliant and handled with confidentiality Work to company health and safety procedures at all times Maintain accurate logs of work carried out Support improvements to internal systems and processes Required Skills and Experience: A genuine interest in IT and technology, with a willingness to learn new skills Strong practical abilities - DIY or hands-on technical experience advantageous Basic understanding of networking and IT hardware installation preferred Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach Capable of working under pressure and adapting quickly to changing tasks High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability Essential Requirements: Must hold a valid UK driving licence Willingness and ability to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required Flexibility to work outside of standard hours where necessary Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekend availability (occasional, dependent on-site needs) Flexibility for overnight stays essential Work Location: On the road (Field-based, with home base in St. Helens, UK) Benefits: Company car and all necessary tools provided Full training and development support On-site parking at head office location Opportunities for long-term progression within a nationwide company Pay Bracket: 24,000-34,000 depending on experience Job Type: Full-time Work Location: On the road
