As a leader of Technology and a role model manager with a passion for developing people.
You will be responsible for and develop a multidisciplinary team consisting of 3rd Line engineers, DBAS and a Technical Design Architect.

• Act as a Leader of technology and advocate new technologies to the organisation.
• Manage the entire ecosystem of technology across the business.
• Manage and mitigate challenges faced within technology space and Better Faster Digital programme.
• Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management at all levels of the organisation, including senior stakeholder/board presentations.
• Ensure governance and compliance processes are adhered to and optimised for technology delivery.
• Provide strategic direction for technical assessment, definition, prioritisation, architecture, design and deployment of new products and services.
• Identify and investigate advanced technologies offering company significant technical and financial benefits.
• The role encompasses both the internal support operation within the organisation and the provision of highly available, high-performance technology services to our customer base

• Experienced IT Infrastructure Management Role (5 years plus) and ability to demonstrate efficiencies both in cost, people and process
• Strong technical /leadership skills able to deliver results by encouraging a strong team ethos approach
• Enthusiasm and tenacity and a passion for Technology
• Experience of delivering Technology and Infrastructure roadmap and strategy
• Strong organisational skills together with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively, managing multiple work packages
• Good knowledge of core as well as modern networking technologies such as SD-WAN together with an understanding of the key technology providers
