The IT Manager reports to the Technical Director and is a newly created role that will take full ownership of the Information and Communication Technology systems, processes and budgets employed in support of operational and strategic objectives of the business. They will lead a small but experienced and dynamic team providing expertise in support of Intelliscape's internal operations and staff as well as its product developments and the delivery of its customer-facing, project and support services.

Role Purpose

Lead our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) operations and information security initiatives. This pivotal role ensures our infrastructure, systems, and data remain secure, scalable, and aligned with our business objectives and policies. You will manage a small but dynamic IT team and support the delivery of products and solutions to customers, including software development, edge device installation, customer support, and cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities
--------------------
Establish and maintain appropriate and optimal Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems and processes to support the operations and strategic objectives of the business and to meet statutory obligations, including information and cyber security, business continuity and disaster recovery, telephony and data connectivity, such that ISO27001 accreditation is achieved and maintained.
Oversee the creation and management of annual operational and capital budgets for the delivery of Intelliscape's ICT objectives.
Manage information technology, Information Security and computer systems
Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT operations
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating business objectives and appraising their performance
Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
Ensure security of information, critical data, network access and backup solutions
Confirm that IT systems and processes are in line with and support overall organisational policies and strategic objectives
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
Protect by adequate controls business assets, information security & controls.
Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Supervise daily IT operations
Align IT infrastructure with current/ future business requirements and goals
Manage IT budgets, forecast and enforcing cost-effectiveness
Conduct IT Risk Management
Implement Information security Controls
Assure that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, regulations and policies
Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively
Disaster recovery of IT system / Support Business continuity plan
Contribute to and ensure adherence with Modaxo strategy and policy through participation of the applicable Modaxo-wide forums.
Understand and implement the company safety policy by accepting individual responsibility and responsibility for those personnel under his or her authority, including others who may be affected by the company's activities.
Ensure assigned personnel are aware of their responsibility towards Health, Safety and the environment (SHE) and are equipped accordingly.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience working in IT operations management.
Demonstrable experience working as an IT Manager or equivalent line management and leadership experience.
Personal Characteristics

Knowledge of Security standards such as ISO27001, UK Cyber essentials / plus.
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis IT environment.
Expertise in implementation of Information security controls, data management and IT solutions design.
Hands-on experience with IT system design, Implementations, Management tools and network administration.
Experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems.
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
A collaborative team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
