Job context

The Ridgeway School is a large co-educational school, catering for pupils with severe and profound multiple learning difficulties between the ages of 2-19 years. The School is an Academy and part of the Weydon Multi Academy Trust.

Job Purpose

To support the aims, values and ethos of the school and to contribute to the implementation of the school's IT Development Plan. Within the aims, values and ethos of the school, to co-ordinate the school's use of IT, taking responsibility for the purchase, installation, maintenance and operation of all IT hardware and software. To be accountable to the Headteacher, advising the school governors, leadership and management team, and SBM on IT strategy, and to perform such duties as the Headteacher may reasonably direct, including some duties out of school hours.
