XUM Enterprise Ltd is not your average IT hardware reseller. Based in Manchester and operating globally, we specialise in desktops, laptops, servers, memory, storage, and networking equipment. We source, refurbish, and distribute thousands of units monthly through Amazon, eBay, Back Market, and other platforms while driving the circular economy with sustainable IT solutions.
Our fast-paced, purpose-driven team operates across the UK, UAE, China, and Europe, built on ISO-aligned systems and international logistics. We care about people, progress, and performance, and we're scaling with serious ambition.
This Job is Not for Everyone
Let's be clear: this role is challenging. It's not for coasters, clock-watchers, or those looking for an easy ride.
We don't offer off-the-shelf solutions here. You'll face daily problem-solving across office and warehouse operations, working with a multicultural team that demands clarity, speed, and initiative. You'll build systems, optimise processes, and lead by example.
We are doing something rare and unique in the UK, combining ecommerce scale, industrial refurbishment, and cross-border IT operations and manufacturing. If that excites you, read on.
We Believe in Rockstar Hiring
At XUM, we hire exceptional people, not average ones.
We'd rather have one world-class IT Online Sales & Operations Manager who can lead, build, and scale than three average ones.
If you spot gaps and close them, thrive under pressure, and take ownership from start to finish, you're who we want.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role combining IT hardware expertise, ecommerce operations, and real-world problem solving.
You'll manage and develop a small team, oversee sales across multiple platforms, and work directly with warehouse, office, and executive teams to keep everything moving fast and efficiently.
This isn't just another manager role. This is about bringing a Formula 1 mentality into every task: rapid response, razor-sharp efficiency, and a relentless push for improvement at every level of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of day-to-day IT product operations: sourcing, refurbishing, listings, and ecommerce sales flow
Oversee performance on Amazon, eBay, Back Market, TikTok Shop, OnBuy, and more
Lead a small cross-functional operations team across office and warehouse
Improve systems, streamline workflows, and spot bottlenecks
Manage product listings, pricing, compliance, and optimisation for thousands of SKUs
Use Linnworks (or similar) for stock control, automation, and platform feeds
Track KPIs, dashboards, sales data, and drive data-led improvements
Collaborate with directors on strategy, forecasting, and business scaling
Stay on top of ecommerce trends, regulations, platform changes, and security standards
What We're Looking For
2+ years' experience managing ecommerce operations or IT product sales
Strong technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, servers, memory, SSDs/HDDs, etc.
Hands-on with Amazon, eBay, Back Market, etc. including repricing and listing tools
Familiarity with Linnworks or multi-channel ecommerce software
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and get the best out of a small team
Natural problem-solver who takes initiative, not direction
Clear communicator, verbal and written, across cultures and departments
Coding knowledge a bonus (C#, HTML/CSS, or automation scripts)
Degree or certifications welcome, but mindset and execution matter more
Personal Traits That Matter

Performer - You treat every task like it matters, because it does
Leadership without ego - You support your team and bring everyone up
Owner mindset - You don't say "that's not my job"; you make it your mission

What You Get
30,000 base salary + meaningful performance bonuses
Opportunity to scale a team and systems from the ground up
Work alongside top-level leadership in a business doing serious things
Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate
A culture that rewards people who deliver, care, and build for the long term
A chance to shape one of the most unique ITAD and ecommerce operations in the UK
