We are seeking an exceptional IT Operations Engineer, who combines strong technical skills with an acute business awareness, and excellent stake holder management. This is an exciting and challenging role in the fast-moving world of games publishing. Curve Digital is part of the Catalis Group and this role joins the wider Catalis UK IT team, with the specific responsibilities of supporting the Curve Digital team. Primarily based out of the central London office, there may be occasional to other London and global offices as the company continues to expand.The ideal candidate is one who understands taking ownership of support issues, is always willing to go the extra mile, and has the necessary patience to help and support users to resolve issues through to their satisfaction.As we continue to roll out cloud technologies across the Catalis Group, there is a strong focus for this role on Microsoft?EUR(TM)s 365 suite of cloud applications; solid experience is therefore essential.Experience supporting console and development systems is highly desirable therefore this role would suite someone with previous experience working within games development or publishing.This is a varied role, and the ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of IT fundamentals, gained from previous IT engineer roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow the role and responsibilities as Curve continues to expand.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities:? Provision of desktop, application and network support? Provision of technical knowledge and advice to ongoing business initiatives? Ownership of patching and software updates across all platforms? Provision of support for the ongoing integration and merger of new business acquisitions? Maintaining and supporting the virtualisation software and infrastructure? Assisting Group IT with deploying servers, and PCs both remotely and on-site? Monitoring live servers, troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues? Taking a lead role in coordinating any major incidents relating to software deployed in the region? Data management? Data cabling installation, management, and patching? Hardware upgrades and replacements? Adherence to Group IT and Security policies? Adherence to Group StandardsTECHNICAL SKILLSEssential;? Solid experience working with and supporting the Office 365 suite of cloud applications (Sharepoint, PowerBI, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Teams, Planner, etc)? Console and development hardware (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Google)? Strong background within IT Engineering? Solid experience with Active Directory including Group Policy? Good understanding of Windows Server (2016, 2019) and Windows network services? Excellent knowledge of networking essentialsDesirable;? Backup Exec? VMWare 6+? RBAC/AGDLP? PC image deployment technologies? Exposure to SIEM solutions? Cisco Small Business Switch Administration? Azure Security controls e.g. Conditional Access? Basic Firewall administrationOTHER SKILLS? Excellent communication skills both written and verbal? Ensure effective delivery in the maintenance of the Core IT services to ensure business-as-usual operations.? Experience in using a ticketing system and adherence to SLAs? Work under own initiative and as part of a team? Excellent organizational and time management skillsEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Computer Sciences/related or industry recognised qualifications (CCNA, MCSA, etc)
  • Technical - 5 Years?EUR(TM) experience in Microsoft stack technologies (Azure and O365)
  • Technical - 2 Years?EUR(TM) experience with Networks
