As the IT Lead for WIG you will determine and oversee delivery of the technology strategy and roadmap. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our internal IT products and systems (e.g. CRM, website, business & productivity tools etc), working closely with various stakeholders including strategic partners to ensure our technology solutions align with our organisational goals and enhance our operational efficiency.
A key player who effectively integrates, motivates and builds relationships with and between team members, key stakeholders, customers, executives, and other individuals or organisations involved with the end-to-end product life cycle. You will continuously use data to empower decision making and inform product direction in ways that build toward positive business outcomes for the organisation and their customers.
Lead the planning, development, and deployment of IT products and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritise product requirements.
Oversee system integrations and ensure seamless operation of IT infrastructure.
Provide and source training and support to staff on IT systems and tools.
Leading on implementing systems where data protection and cyber security are by design, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and quality standards (e.g. GDPR, Cyber Essentials+, ISO etc)
Maintaining GDPR and cyber security policies, procedures and internal training.
Line management of the CRM and Data assistant
Monitor and analyse product performance, making data-driven decisions for improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations.
Regularly communicate with product stakeholders and develop strong relationships to surface, balance and prioritize feedback from multiple groups.
Socialise the technology strategy, and ensure a common understanding among internal and external stakeholders.
Lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts to support the ongoing evolution and innovation of the product.
Monitor business, market, and technology trends and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.
Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve customer outcomes.
Contribute to translating desired business outcomes into actionable product and technical requirements.
Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, including sales and usage metrics, to monitor product health and make maintain/refresh/retirement recommendations and decisions.
Define, track and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy.
Manage technology partners to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies (e.g., agile methods) and best practices (e.g., reusability).
Proactively support the identification and resolution of blockers (including technical and resourcing) to achieve product business objectives.
Collaborate internally to drive adoption and consumption of product capabilities, inclusive of identifying specific product experience enhancements intended to drive acquisition and expansion.
Manage product investment decision making and the overall financial performance of the product, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimising product costs.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Or equivalent work experience
Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies either through qualifications or equivalent work experience
