Role Description:

  • Within IT, the IT Product and Operations team is an experienced, nimble & expert team composed of multiple sub streams.
  • The main purpose of the team is to lead the digital strategy and transformation of Operations and Products functions through effective business partnering and conceptualizing, delivering and supporting state of the art and secure IT technologies across the end-to-end value chain.

  • We are seeking an IT PROJECT MANAGER to join our IT Operations Manufacturing team, located in London.
  • As IT PROJECT MANAGER, you will contribute to execution of our strategy by leading all phases of assigned projects (medium to large and/or cross-functional), solving a business need through the application of project management practices.
  • As we transition to more diversified Smoke-Free Product(SFP) portfolio, we will need to further expand our SFP manufacturing footprint, as well as review and update our factory system landscape to fit to the factory of the future. This individual will engage with our manufacturing stakeholders to lead the IT delivery streams related to New Product Launch, New Technology Introduction, further capacity extension in existing RRP Manufacturing Sites (or a combination of them!).
  • You will grow our IT Operations Manufacturing SFP Expansion Program team and become an integral component of our Smoke free Product scale-up strategy.
  • You will also have the opportunity to engage with all IT Platforms (IT Infrastructure, Corporate Platform -SAP-, Supply Chain and QA Operations as well as affiliates IT Operations teams) to deliver a complex integrated eco-systems as well as gaining a deep understanding of our logistics, manufacturing and quality core processes to run a manufacturing site.
  • While we see this role expanding within the function and company, in general, we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a clear willingness to learn new processes and technologies from day one that will be critical as we seek to remain agile and innovative.
Responsibilities:
  • As a Project Manager reporting into IT Operations Manufacturing team, you will contribute to the execution of our client strategy and the platform roadmap by leading all phases of projects/programs to achieve expected business outcomes and timelines, through the application of agile and project management practices.
  • Specifically, you will lead the IT stream of Capacity expansion projects, which is looking at expanding our Operations systems footprint.
  • You will co-author business cases, onboard resources, form and lead internal & external cross functional, cross organization and cross geographies project teams, develop schedules, implement the execution framework, tools, methods and organisation to orchestrate the delivery of the project/program scope.
  • You will run your project according to Project Management standard processes (Scope, Time, Budget, Risk & Issues, monthly status reports, Lessons learnt) with related documents periodically updated.
  • You will lead assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • You will handle, assess, and review proposals and contracts of 3rd party vendor.
  • You will drive business requirements (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Logistics, Quality) gathering and fit-gap analysis to define systems, technologies, infrastructure requirements and translate them into scope, budget, resources & deliver plan.
  • You will ensure user requirements and functional specifications are documented and updated.
  • You will ensure optimal adoption of our global systems and digital solutions application portfolio as well as the adherence to RRP Quality Management System, IT Policy Framework, SOX, Cyber-security standards.
  • You will address system gaps with Digital Solution Product team to define and integrate remediation delivery plan meeting deployment project constraints.
  • Partnering with other IT functions, Manufacturing and engineering customers and Corporate Quality, you will ensure global systems readiness and coordinate affiliate activities to get a successful local deployment in line with Global Manufacturing Master Plan.
  • You will develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
  • You will establish and implement project communication plans, providing status updates to affected collaborators.
  • You will ensure functional and user acceptance tests are performed and validated according to business requirements.
  • You will ensure project health indicators are maintained, and lead steering committees to ensure alignment across functions as well as propose mitigation options for decision making.
  • You will verify project launch and further deployment readiness.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully completing critical IT manufacturing deployment projects or programs.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology or Business Function.
  • Substantial project management experience in global organization managing global/large scale projects.
  • Shown experience of leading sizable cross-culture teams and remote teams in Project Management.
  • Shown knowledge in Manufacturing Practices, Product Specification & Process Manufacturing Standards, Quality System, Industrialization and manufacturing processes, Procurement & Supply Chain practice and principles.
  • Experience in using JIRA, Confluence.
  • Strong risk management and mitigation skills. Strong attention to details.
  • Strong presentation skills and excellent command of English.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, IPMA, Certified Scrum Master,\xe2\x80\xa6).
  • Enthusiastic, optimistic, energetic, and tenacious, showing personal maturity and ability to handle stress and sensitivities related to the project\xe2\x80\x99s topics.
Industry Specific Skills:
  • Experience in IT departments in a consumer product manufacturing industry.
  • Project Management Certification
