As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver professional services projects, ensuring our clients receive an exceptional experience throughout the project lifecycle.

The Job
The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects, ensuring they are planned, executed, and completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
You will work closely with internal technical teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
You will be accountable for project governance, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, and financial tracking. As the primary point of contact for clients, you will foster strong relationships and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Communication and organisation are the key to mastering this role and so we're looking for someone with these skills in bucket loads.

Duties and Responsibilities
Project Leadership and Delivery:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of client facing IT projects, including cloud migrations, hardware rollouts, network deployments and integrations.
Support the planning and delivery of internal IT projects, including systems migrations and integration of newly acquired businesses.
Work with pre-sales architects to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
Oversee project documentation, reporting, and compliance with our existing standards.
Propose and implement process change initiatives.
Stakeholder and Client Management:
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and post-project reviews.
Risk, Issue & Change Management:
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Manage project change requests, ensuring all changes are documented, approved, and communicated.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive improvements in project management processes, visibility and contribute to the development of best practices.

Our business operates from multiple locations, and you may be required to visit offices other than Cheadle from time to time.
The Person
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background within the IT or MSP sector. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to build trust and credibility with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, drive progress, and resolve issues will be essential. You should be adept at stakeholder management, able to foster strong relationships, and act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project journey.
We expect you to demonstrate a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be comfortable working independently, making decisions, and adapting to changing demands in a fast-paced environment. A passion for the work you do and a desire to develop your knowledge of the MSP industry are essential.

Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years in project management or project coordination, within an MSP or IT services environment.
Experience in managing projects involving Microsoft cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or digital transformation.
Demonstrable track record of delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, Agile, or equivalent).
Proficient in using project management tools.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong financial acumen, including experience with project budgeting and forecasting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
Proactive problem-solver with a solution-oriented mindset.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent project management certification.
Experience using MSP tooling such as Autotask PSA and IT Glue.

The Package
Salary: 35,000 to 45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications; higher for Prince2 or equivalent certification)
The role is office based but flexible working requests on completion of probationary period will be considered.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
