The Role



As IT Project Manager, you'll deliver high-quality IT projects that support the Group's digital transformation, security, and operational efficiency objectives. You will define project scope, manage risks, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure project outcomes align with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.



Duration:



Fixed term contract, 12 18 months



Key Responsibilities



Project Delivery & Governance




Lead the end-to-end delivery of medium-large sized IT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards Define and manage project scope, objectives, plans, and deliverables in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders Maintain robust project documentation including business cases, RAID logs, change requests, and status reports Apply project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) as appropriate to project type and complexity Provide regular progress updates and reporting to senior management, highlighting key risks, issues, and dependencies

Stakeholder & Supplier Management




Engage effectively with stakeholders across IT, Operations, Compliance, and Finance to ensure business alignment and project success Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design, and decision-making workshops Manage supplier and third-party relationships, monitoring performance against contractual obligations and SLAs Act as a bridge between technical teams and business users, translating requirements and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle

Financial & Resource Control




Support the preparation of business cases, cost estimates, and project budgets Track and manage project expenditure, ensuring costs remain within approved limits Coordinate internal and external resources to achieve project milestones efficiently Contribute to procurement and vendor selection activities where applicable

Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance




Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation where necessary Ensure project deliverables comply with regulatory and internal control requirements (e.g., FCA, GDPR, ISO 27001) Oversee testing activities, including UAT, integration testing, and security validation Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure lessons learned are documented and shared

Salary



50,000 - 60,000



Who We're Looking For




Experience in delivering IT projects in a financial services or regulated environment Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and security principles Experience with project management tools and documentation Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Collaborative approach with aptitude for working across different departments Professional qualification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMP) desirable

Location



Based in the UK with two days a week expected in London Office.
