Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and troubleshooting. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets specifications. Utilise tools such as Jira for tracking issues and managing test cases effectively. Provide technical support and customer service to assist users with software-related queries. Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software performance. Document test results and maintain comprehensive records of testing processes. Troubleshoot software issues using various operating systems, including Mac OS, and provide solutions to enhance user experience. Work with VPNs and computer networking concepts to ensure seamless connectivity during testing phases. Assist in maintaining the integrity of LAN setups during testing procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in software troubleshooting and technical support roles. Familiarity with issue tracking systems such as Jira and ServiceNow is highly desirable. Strong understanding of computer networking principles and experience with LAN configurations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficient in using office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. A proactive approach to problem-solving with keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
