Hoople Group are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Senior Asset Manager to lead our Asset Management and Purchasing Team in delivering a professional, customer-focused service.

The role is based withing the Hoople Commercial Services Team, reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role in modernising our asset management function, streamlining processes, and driving efficiencies that benefit a multitude of different services within Herefordshire, including Hoople Group, Herefordshire Council, Wye Valley NHS Trust, Herefordshire's GP's and other Hoople clients.

What You'll Be Doing:



Lead and coordinate the IT Asset Management and Purchasing Team, ensuring efficient service delivery. Act as the first point of contact for operational queries and provide day-to-day guidance to team members. Modernise asset management practices and implement improvements to enhance service quality. Develop and maintain a connected Asset Register for robust reporting and audit readiness. Oversee Software Asset Management to ensure licence compliance and cost control. Manage purchasing and stockroom operations, including audits, reporting, and supplier engagement. Support IT project delivery through coordinated asset planning and documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, including Health and Safety and procurement procedures.

Significant experience in purchasing within a highly regulated or public sector environment (ideally within the IT sector) Strong leadership and coordination skills
