Who are we?
Formed in 2003 and based in Hertford, ITS Digital provides IT support to customers ranging from home and business to the NHS. Our close working team of engineers and support staff focus on end-user support, both on customer sites and remotely. We have evolved our working processes over many years to provide the best and most efficient service we can, whilst still creating great customer relationships along the way.
We have a very low staff turnover and support our employees wherever possible, helping to foster a positive working environment.
Why are we recruiting?
Due to staff changes and in-house promotions, we are looking for a keen and committed individual to join our friendly Bengeo shop team.
Are you suitable?
We currently have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, business-focused individual to help plan, develop and evolve a well-established and loved IT shop based in Hertford. Through as little or as much support from current senior staff, the successful candidate would need to demonstrate the following;
An IT/technical background
Knowledge of PC products and peripherals
Good customer service skills, both verbal and written with a 'happy-to-help' personality
An understanding of the importance of branding and brand perception
An understanding of marketing and promotion, including use of social media to help increase sales
Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe products
Ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail
Effective prioritisation and triaging of tasks
Understand the importance of customer satisfaction and loyalty
Our retail shop enjoys a good reputation in the local area and we seek an organised and innovative individual to help move it to the next level. The role will see the successful candidate given several responsibilities from working face-to-face with customers, making product selection decisions to managing an advertising budget as part of the small team. To compete with larger IT chains, we focus on value-added services and avoid simply 'box-shifting'. Customer interaction and relationships are paramount to this strategy and as such the successful applicant would need to demonstrate a polite and thoughtful approach to their communication.
What's involved?
This role comes with a wide remit which is created, developed, and will evolve, alongside the successful applicant. The successful candidate will have a strong say in policies and implementation to improve customer service and efficiency.
The role will migrate towards dealing primarily with customers, however working closely with engineers to manage orders and repairs will always form a key aspect of the position.
