IT Support Analyst

Hours:

08.30 to 17.00 - Monday to Thursday
08.30 to 16.30 - Friday

We are seeking a dedicated IT Analyst to join our team in a role primarily focused on implementing/supporting our Indigo WMS warehouse management system.
The ideal candidate will understand system support, data accuracy, SQL reporting, and warehouse processes, with general IT skills. Experience in managing IT or system projects, with a focus on outcomes and timely delivery, is highly valued.
This role is key to maintaining operational continuity and driving the success of our WMS project.

Main Objective

To take primary responsibility for supporting, maintaining, and evolving the Indigo WMS system to ensure it effectively supports our warehouse and logistics operation. The role will also assist the IT Manager with wider departmental administration and IT support, contributing to the company's business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Indigo WMS Ownership

: Act as the primary contact for all Indigo WMS support requests, issues, and improvements.

System Monitoring and Issue Resolution

: Perform daily checks on the WMS system and its integration with our ERP (K8), investigating and resolving any errors.

Configuration and User Administration

: Maintain user roles, permissions, and settings within the WMS.

Reporting and Data Accuracy

: Build and run reports using SQL and Nitro. Work with warehouse staff to ensure data accuracy.

Project Focus and Delivery

: Support the Indigo WMS upgrade and rollout, with a clear focus on outcomes, milestones, and business deliverables.

Vendor Liaison

: Work with Indigo/Aptean on bug fixes, license key applications, software upgrades, and future functionality.

Training and Onboarding

: Support onboarding and upskilling of users on WMS functionality.

Out-of-Hours Support

: Provide emergency WMS and IT support when required.

General IT Support

: Perform other tasks as needed in line with the role.

Pre-existing Skills Required

WMS / Warehouse Systems Knowledge

: Understanding of warehouse workflows and WMS use in a distribution environment.

SQL Reporting & Data Interpretation

: Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries and reports.

Problem Solving

: A solutions-focused approach to system errors and integration issues.

Comprehensive IT Knowledge

: Broad knowledge of IT systems.

Communication

: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Planning and Organisation

: Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to 35,000.00 per year
