To provide customer-focused desktop support to users, and operational support to IT services across a multi-site business. To provide an effective technical escalation point for incoming issues/requests for business systems and services. Key Accountabilities

  • Provide a professional, pro-active, service-orientated IT presence
  • Prioritise personal workloads through effective time management
  • Provide ongoing support of bespoke and off-the-shelf desktop applications to the wider business
  • Aid in project delivery and new system implementations
  • Maintain technical documentation


Qualifications
Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems. Essential:
  • Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Server environment (AD, DNS, Group Policy, CA, etc.)
  • Microsoft 365 (Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, Autopilot, Defender, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable:
  • ITIL qualification
  • Working knowledge of VMWare vSphere and ESXi
  • Working knowledge of networking principles (routing, switching, wired and wireless environments)
  • Working knowledge of security principles (AV, email security, firewalls)
  • At least 1 years\xe2\x80\x99 practical experience supporting telecoms (both traditional and digital) systems.
  • Development of close working relationships with office and remote staff
