The Role




The IT Support Specialist role is an essential part of the IT Support team, focused on assisting with technical queries, maintaining IT assets, and supporting the IT infrastructure across the organisation. Reporting to the IT Support Manager the IT Support Specialist will provide frontline technical support, contributing to the smooth operation of IT services and maintenance of Accu's IT systems as well as contributing to future optimisation and growth.



Responsibilities



Provide technical support across hardware, software and connectivity issues. Set up and maintain user devices and meeting room equipment. Support Network operations, troubleshooting issues and look for ways to improve overall connectivity and resilience. Assist with staff onboarding and technical training. Track and manage IT assets. Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations and IT processes. Support technical projects and implement new IT efficiencies across Accu. Deliver on-site support across the office and warehouse environments. Maintain and enforce cybersecurity measures and respond to threats when needed. Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols and industry standards.


Skills Required



Strong experience with Networking (UniFi preferred), including WiFi, Routing, Firewalls, VPN, VLANs and Network redundancy. Hands-on experience with MacOS, Linux, Windows, iOS and Android.

- Strong experience with Cloud Computing (AWS - EC2, S3, IAM, Serverless etc).

A passion for technology and an interest in all things engineering. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills. Experience with an IT ticketing system.


Qualifications


Desirable:

Network Certification (CompTIA Network+ or CCNA). Security Certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH etc.) Knowledge of Cyber Essentials + Knowledge of ISO standards, 9001, 27001 AWS Certification (e.g Certified Cloud Practitioner)
