As an
IT Support Specialist
, you'll be part of a growing internal IT team committed to keeping our systems, staff, and training centres running smoothly. This is not a passive role -- we're looking for someone with initiative, drive, and a hands-on approach to making sure every centre is operating at its best, every single day.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work closely with our Head of IT & MIS and other team members to support users across multiple sites. You'll be
the eyes and ears on the ground
, ensuring each centre's tech setup is reliable, secure, and ready to support our learners and staff.
Deliver responsive IT support to staff both in person and remotely.
Proactively identify and address potential issues across our sites before they become problems.
Log, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets using our internal call management system.
Install, maintain, and upgrade software, devices, and operating systems.
Support server infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure.
Carry out regular on-site visits to training centres to audit, maintain, and improve tech readiness.
Escalate and follow through on high-priority or complex issues.
Assist in the planning and delivery of internal IT projects.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
4-5 years' experience in an IT support or service desk environment.
Confident working with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and remote access tools.
Awareness of cybersecurity principles and how to apply them in day-to-day support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills -- you'll need to explain tech clearly to non-technical users.
Self-motivated, highly organised, and proactive -- especially when visiting sites.
Desirable:
Degree in a related field or industry certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL).
Experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Teams Admin.
Familiarity with multi-site IT support environments.

Location: London Liverpool Street office, with regular travel to other training centres.
Schedule: Monday to Friday.
Start date: 01/10/2025.
