About Us

Gadgets Care Ltd is a local computer repair and IT support shop based in Hebburn. We provide in-store and remote services for walk-in retail customers and small businesses, including device repairs, software setup, and network troubleshooting.

As our client base grows, we are looking for a skilled and customer-focused

IT Support Technician

to join our friendly and hands-on team.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, and other computing devices Replace or upgrade hardware components (e.g., SSDs, RAM, power supplies) Install and configure operating systems (Windows/Linux) and essential software Troubleshoot issues related to software, internet connectivity, and peripheral devices Provide technical support to customers in person, by phone, or via remote access tools Set up and maintain small networks, home routers, and printers Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all repairs and tasks

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (international qualifications accepted) Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in IT support. Strong knowledge of PC hardware, OS installation, and basic networking Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently in a small team environment
