As a result of our growth, we are seeking a junior but experienced IT Engineer to join our dynamic IT team, based from the offices of Slater Heelis Solicitors in Sale.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1st and 2nd line support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and applications. Monitor system performance and ensure the security and integrity of data. Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements to IT services. Document and maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an IT support role or similar technical support position. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common software applications. Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration. Experience with Intune and SharePoint is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Hands-on attitude required. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
