Systems Engineer

Salary up to \xc2\xa340,000

I am working alongside a software development specialist located in South Wales. We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join my clients rapidly-growing team. Roles and Responsibilities

• Commissioning, installing and maintaining our clients multi-tier environments
• Providing 1st and 2nd line customer support, supporting ticketing system by email and phone. You may be required to carry out emergency out-of-hours support based on on-call schedule
• Managing internal and external projects through to completion. Meeting the expectations of all stakeholders.
• Participating in and overseeing the release process. You will also perform and oversee user acceptance testing on latest releases and maintain internal testing labs.
• Assisting in developing and improving support documentation and contributing to customer driven training documentation.
• System wide roll-outs

Skills Required

• Supporting & Deploying software applications
• Configuration and troubleshooting of IP Networks
• Configuring and troubleshooting - Windows Server Environments
• A good understanding of, configuring, querying, backing up and troubleshooting SQL
• Strong IT Troubleshooting skills
• Clear and Confident verbal and written communications
