Job Summary


The IT Systems & Infrastructure Lead will take full ownership of the development and delivery of our IT systems and hardware reporting directly to the Corporate Services Director.

This standalone role requires a proactive, hands-on professional who can balance operational excellence with strategic vision. You will oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and user support, ensuring systems are secure, efficient and fit for future growth.

Working closely with the Business Analyst, you will help drive systems development, user engagement, and continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities



Technical Operations & User Support



Manage IT onboarding for new starters, including hardware setup, system configuration and induction. Provide face-to-face and remote technical support to all users, ensuring minimal downtime Oversee the network operations, including Wi-Fi, printers and CCTV Systems

Infrastructure & Systems Management



Own and maintain all IT infrastructure, including servers, network, cybersecurity, data storage, and backups (local and cloud) Manage system permissions, domain administration, and Xclaimer signature management Oversee hardware procurement, asset lifecycle management and recycling within budget Evaluate and manage IT suppliers and service providers, ensuring value and performance

Governance, Compliance & Security



Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, security and scalability Manage data protection requests, security permissions and compliance processes Maintain strong backup and recovery procedures, ensuring business continuity

Training & User Engagement



Deliver tailored training sessions to support adoption of new technologies and systems Champion digital literacy and confidence among staff

Strategic Development



Collaborate with the Business Analyst to support the development and integration of business systems Identify cost saving opportunities and potential areas for IT Improvement Advise on in-house vs, outsourced IT support models

Required Skills & Experience



Proven experience in a standalone IT Role Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI and SharePoint (desirable) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Demonstrable experience in managing system transitions, including training. Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity and cloud solutions.

Qualifications



Degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field Project management certification (desirable)

Salary & Package

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 28,000.00-40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
