As an IT Technical Support Officer you will be the first point of contact for all things tech. Whether it's through site visits, emails, or phone calls, you'll engage with our internal staff to diagnose issues and deliver fast, effective solutions. You'll also oversee the maintenance and replacement of IT equipment, ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for IT who's ready to take the first step in their career. If you're enthusiastic about learning, open to mentorship, and eager to develop your skills through hands-on experience, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on technical support across the sites
Respond to IT queries via phone, email and in-person visits
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues promptly
Manage equipment upgrades and replacements
Prioritise and manage multiple open cases effectively
What we are looking for:
Timeliness is critical here. Everyone expects to get an instant solution - we aim to manage that expectation. You will need to display the following qualities:
A diligent problem-solver who sees tasks through to completion
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own schedule
Prioritise and manage several open cases at one time
Plan and manage your day - responding to call-outs within agreed timeframes
Have a Full driving licence (essential)
There's no getting away from the fact that the role will require a good understanding of digital technologies, so make sure you have an interest in the basics of computers and how they work, including knowledge of Microsoft applications. If you have a rudimentary understanding of Networks then even better.
Above all, don't worry if you aren't an expert in any of this - all training will be provided as necessary. You just need to be open to a new challenge, committed to fantastic customer service and, most importantly, willing to learn.
