We are looking for a motivated and dedicated
IT Technician
to join our South Lee Prep School team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and wants to build their career in IT, while working in a supportive and friendly school environment.

In addition to providing technical support, this role would suit someone who is keen to make an impact and value having their voice heard when implementing new ideas. You'll be encouraged to be on the front foot, helping us shape the future of technology in education.
Key Responsibilities:
provide daily technical support for staff and pupils
manage and maintain the school's Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams and Azure
support and administer Jamf School MDM for both 1:1 and shared iPads. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly
ensure devices are secure, updated, and ready for classroom use
assist with onboarding new staff and students to school systems
liaise with external IT providers when required.
Skills and Experience:
strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, and Azure
experience with Jamf School MDM and iPad management, or a willingness to become familiar with this.
excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
clear communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical users
appreciation of the demands of working in a busy school setting
organised, reliable, and able to work independently
previous school experience is not essential - this role may suit someone at the start of their IT career or someone seeking a change of environment.

Terms of Employment:
a part time role: a 10-hour working week
6 weeks holiday pro rata (must be taken in school holidays)
