About the Role:



Chaps IT Recycling is a provider of secure IT Asset Disposal Solutions and require a collections operative to travel to sites and collect redundant IT equipment securely & deliver this back to our facility, role will include the processing of the IT equipment due to workload and requirements, however collections will be the primary role.

This is a

part-time

role, available from Tuesday to Thursday. The position requires flexibility, and collections will be booked

on days we will decide together. Overtime may be available depending on workload.



Initial Requirements:



Before proceeding, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

Experience

: Previous professional experience in public-facing roles (customer service, etc)

DBS -

Due to the nature of customers you must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.

Driving

: You must hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points and no non-speeding convictions. Applicants must be over

twenty-five for insurance purposes.

Must be familiar with driving larger vehicles.

Vehicle:

Company vehicle PPE & Uniform will be supplied.

Heavy Lifting / Manual Labor:

Collecting IT assets which can weigh up to 30KG and loading them onto the vehicle.

IT Hardware:

Must be familiar with IT hardware and the process of removing hard-drives or have an interest in technology, be willing to be trained up

Computer literacy:

The business relies on multiple online platforms such as a CRM & spreadsheets. Must be familiar with data entry and working around sheets.

About Chaps IT Recycling:



We provide secure IT Asset recycling solutions for organisations across the UK and offer a nationwide solution, due to a restructure in the company we are looking at working with an individual to cover our collections from customer sites. Workload will vary dependent on collections and locations.

Job Role and Responsibilities:



As a collections operative you will collect used IT equipment using our trolleys sacks and vehicle from site and securely delivery them back to our facility in Sheffield.

When collections are not available, processing of IT equipment will be the task of the day to ensure that working hours are filled.

Upon successful application, we will discuss the days/hours you are available.

Your duties will include:

Providing excellent customer service during collections Driving to and from destinations across the UK in our company LWB vehicles. Conducting vehicle checks and preparing all necessary equipment at the beginning of each collection. Working with us to ensure our fully audited solution is monitored and a complete audit trail from collection to delivery to our facility. Recording and refurbishing IT Assets.

Requirements:



To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience

: Previous professional experience in public-facing roles (customer service, etc)

Driving Licence

: Full UK manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience, less than 6 points,

over twenty-five,

and no 'DD' coded offences.

Commitment

: A willingness to commit to the role long-term.

Flexibility

: Availability to work towards customer collection timeframes and collection times.

DBS Check

: Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Physical Fitness

: The ability to handle larger IT assets such as printers or data cabinets safely.

Communication Skills

: Excellent verbal communication, and customer service skills. IT Interest - Must have an interest in IT equipment or previous experience with hardware, training provided.

Compensation:



Paid Above the UK Living Wage

: 13.00 per hour.
