The IT Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems, providing technical support, and ensuring our IT infrastructure operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to internal staff via phone, email, or in person
Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
Monitor and maintain computer systems, printers, and networks
Troubleshoot system and network issues, diagnosing and solving faults
Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
Liaise with external vendors for repairs and maintenance as needed
Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant role
Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
Familiarity with cloud services and remote support tools
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
Relevant IT qualifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are desirable
