IT Technician- Events Photo Team



We are seeking a fun IT Technician with strong computer skills, self-drive and willingness to learn and adapt too specialist systems. Reporting directly to the IT Manager in a fast-paced, innovative Company where you would be expected to actively contribute to the direction of a family-owned business.

We are looking for an IT technician to support the IT team to manage and monitor all EPT computerised systems, including Office 365 platforms, bespoke camera software and POS. This would Include installing and configuration of systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solving technical and application problems, both over the phone or in person, across the UK (some travel and overnight stays required). Overall responsibility for the smooth running of all EPT systems.

Working on a rota/shift basis across the UK, including overnight stays, availability to work nights and weekends, with a Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) Policy to ensure hours worked over contract are taken back within a reasonable time frame.

What we need:



Installation experience.

Remote Support & Maintenance experience.

Software driven.

Camera experience (not essential).

What we'd like:



Experienced in the technical field

Understanding building/fixing computers, Windows 7 and above.

The ability to support non-technical end-users and explain complex IT issues/concepts in simple terms.

Network set-up and fault finding.

Organised and able to follow direction and take the lead

Motivated to succeed and proactive to maintain system uptime

Ability to identify improvements and support with solutions.

General 'Handyman' skills, i.e. fixing monitors to walls, cabling, lighting, camera installation etc.

Approachable, friendly and outgoing.

Ability to work flexibly, including some unsocial hours - according to the needs of the role.

Enthusiastic.

Flexible and committed.

A competitive salary- 26,000- 30,000 depending on experience
