to join our IT Service department. The primary objective of this role is to deliver a high-quality support service to Turner Schools. This is principally a customer facing role predominately based at Turner Free School. Therefore, excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on quality customer service are essential.
The expected working hours will be defined in the contract, however, for guidance it will be between 8am-4pm. This role will be based at Turner Free School and may include occasional travel to other schools in the Trust. You will form an onsite team of 2 and benefit from being part of a wider Trust IT Department
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems
Provide technical support to staff and students
Assist in the school's network and security systems
Help to implement the school's ICT strategy
Keep up to date with the latest ICT developments and technologies
Train staff and students on the use of ICT
Qualifications and Experience:
Preferred experience in supporting and maintaining ICT systems in an educational environment
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Google Workspace
Experience with network administration and security
Experience with IT project management
Experience with training and development
