Learning Partners IT Technician

Monday -Friday - Five days per week - 8am - 4pm

30 days Annual Leave

Learning Partners are seeking to appoint an IT Technician responsible to assist in the support, management and maintenance of the school network

Although you will predominantly be working at George Abbot School, Burpham, Guildford, you will need to be flexible to support requirements across our 16 schools in Guildford.

Our school environment is caring and friendly, with a strong sense of community, and we are looking to add another IT Technician able to support our staff and students across the school. We have an enthusiastic and dedicated team of staff supporting our schools and we are looking to add a Technician to our school based team of three.

We have network staff across our Multi Academy Trust (Learning Partners) with group communications and regular meetings. This creates a community where we help each other resolve issues and work towards joint goals.

In addition to working in a team at George Abbot, the successful candidate will be directly supported by the service desk and development teams.

The role will have specific responsibilities:

IT repair and maintenance Helpdesk & support requests General IT Support Software installations and maintenance Certain server maintenance & tasks Assist with internet access and filtering Supporting the users with various IT requests
The person appointed may not necessarily be familiar with all the areas listed above, but a willingness to learn and be proactive is essential.

Having a UK valid driving license is a requirement, to support our school community based in and around Guildford.
