Job Description
We are in search of an IT Technician to manage the daily functions of our helpdesk and conduct on-site engineering visits. This role is ideal for an individual with prior IT experience who is eager for a challenge, driven by problem-solving opportunities, and committed to ensuring our customers' technology operates seamlessly.
Responsibilities and essential requirements:
Conduct preventative maintenance on computer systems, including software updates, virus protection, and data backup.
Install and configure various hardware and software components.
Offer technical support to end-users for a range of IT-related issues.
Establish and manage network and telecommunications systems.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in computers and peripheral equipment.
Inspect the workplace for safety hazards; keep an inventory of supplies; resolve issues within computer networks.
Proficient with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
Skilled in Windows Server 2016 and newer versions, including Active Directory.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
Competent in software and hardware installations.
Courteous and enthusiastic, with effective communication skills for interacting with staff and customers.
Familiar with firewalls and cloud-based backup solutions.
Possesses a full UK driving license.

Pay: 26,000.00 per year
