You'll be part of a supportive, service-minded team that keeps the College running-computers, AV, printers, phones, software, the lot. Every day is different, and you'll see the difference your work makes in classrooms, offices and learning spaces. .
Responsibilities will include:
. Providing responsive, friendly firstline support to staff and students, resolving helpdesk tickets within agreed SLAs.
Setting up, maintaining and repairing PCs, laptops, peripherals and audiovisual kit; installing and configuring software as required.
Assisting with account administration, asset management (including laptop loans), documentation and routine checks.
Helping to monitor stock, raising purchase orders that ensure best value, and supporting safe, secure IT rooms and equipment.
Pitching in across the IT Team to keep College systems running smoothly and reliably.

About you:
.
You will bring a can-do attitude and a passion for great customer service. Previous experience in similar roles would be advantageous but is not essential. We're looking for: . Foundation skills in Windows 11, installing/configuring hardware & software, and troubleshooting.
Confidence with Microsoft 365 and clear, positive communication with staff, students and external partners.
NVQ Level 2 (or above) in IT
or
equivalent practical experience, plus Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
A team player who's organised, dependable, and happy to work independently when needed across College sites.
It would be great if you also have
basic networking, helpdesk experience, audio/visual or telephony support, and/or a Microsoft or similar industry certification. A full driving licence is a plus.
